NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association awarded five Explorers All-Academic honors while both the men's and women's teams as a whole earned team All-Academic Awards.

La Salle Athletics is saddened by the news that John Uelses, a member of the La Salle Class of 1965 and a two-sport athlete for the Explorers, passed away after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The La Salle men's and women's track and field teams have six Explorers that qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship Preliminaries, the most in program history.
